About Us
The Kentucky Association of Child Care Owners (KACCO) is an Association for Child Care Owners, Directors, Assistant Directors, and their Staff. This Association is also for those Directors in Child Care who act on behalf of a non-present Owner. KACCO unites Child Care Owners from all over the state of Kentucky in order to make the Child Care Industry better. We will network, bring up ideas, sit on committee's, and create positive change within our Industry. It is the people who think they can change the world - who actually change it. When you step outside of your comfort zone is when change, growth, and transformation happens. It is said that time changes everything but you actually have to change them yourself. Stepping onto a brand new path is sometimes difficult and can cause a great deal of anxiety but with it comes great reward. How does change happen? "Dreams are the seeds of change. Nothing ever grows without a seed, and nothing ever changes without a dream." It happens with one gesture, one person, and one moment in time. Kentucky Association of Child Care Owners (KACCO) will be the change that you wish to see within the Child Care Industry. It will be the dream.
At KACCO we believe "Dreams are the seeds of change".
Our Mission
Mission Statement:
Founded in September 2020, Kentucky Association of Child Care Owners (KACCO) is an Association of Child Care "Owners" in Kentucky working together to better Child Care.
Our Founders purpose is to challenge, elevate, inspire, and motivate Child Care Owners to offer the best services to families in their communities. By doing so, we will create new positive beginnings & change in our Industry as we work continuously, fiercely with focus, passionately with a relentless attitude, and while always keeping the unwavering Kentucky Unbridled Spirit. To inspire just one child, in just one community, in Kentucky, makes a huge contribution to the world in which we live. Our Association will leave the Child Care World a better place than where we found it. We will always work to be better than we were yesterday.

Our Vision
What does the Bald Eagle mean to the Child Care Industry?
The Bald Eagle was chosen on June 20, 1782, as the emblem of the United States of America because of its long life, great strength, and majestic looks. It was then believed to exist only on this continent. The Eagle represents FREEDOM! Living as he does on the tops of lofty mountains and amid the solitary grandeur of nature, the Bald Eagle has unlimited FREEDOM whether with strong pinions he sweeps into the valleys below or upward into the boundless spaces beyond. Thus the Bald Eagle, full of boundless spirit of Freedom, living above the valleys, strong & powerful in his might, has become the National Emblem of a Country that offers FREEDOM in word & in thought and an opportunity for a full & free expansion into the boundless space of the future. The Bald Eagle Emblem reminds us that in the Child Care Industry we too have Freedoms -- Freedoms not only as Kentucky Citizens but American Citizens to speak and work together with those in charge to make the Child Care Industry better !! It is our American Right !!
